I'm a leather worker from Morgantown (Mostly hobby leatherworking) and I was wondering how to get my stuff qualified as SCA Heavy Arms certified armor? I know they require 10oz thickness if it's unconditioned, but I make Cuirboli (Water hardened) leather that is pretty solid. I've tested some of my pieces with a hatchet (Not while wearing them of course) and it really just made a nasty dent in the armored scale. Anyway, could someone give me some more info? I'd like to broaden my market from just costume / accessory pieces to actual functional items.
